1teaspooncornstarch (optional, for thickening sauce)
1tablespoonsesame seeds (for garnish)
to tasteSliced green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef (or turkey), breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Use your hands to shape the mixture into bite-sized meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until they are browned and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
While the meatballs are baking, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and cornstarch (if using) in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir continuously until the mixture comes to a simmer and slightly thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
Once the meatballs are done baking, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the meatballs and toss gently until they are well coated.
Transfer the glazed meatballs to a serving platter. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve warm.
