Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, thyme, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush generously with the honey lemon garlic mixture, ensuring they’re well coated.
Reserve some of the marinade for basting later.
Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Halfway through baking, baste the salmon with the reserved honey lemon garlic mixture for extra flavor and a nice glaze.
Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
Serve the salmon garnished with fresh lemon slices and parsley if desired.
