Place the Brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket in a single layer (you may need to work in batches depending on your air fryer size).
Cook in the air fryer for about 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure even browning. The Brussels sprouts should be crispy and golden brown when done.
If using, sprinkle lemon zest over the hot Brussels sprouts for an extra layer of flavor before serving.
