Ingredients
12
oz
dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher), chopped
1
cup
mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans), roughly chopped
1/2
cup
dried cranberries or cherries
1/4
cup
unsweetened coconut flakes
1
teaspoon
flaky sea salt (plus extra for sprinkling)
Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy removal and cleanup.
In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the chopped dark chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until fully melted and smooth.
Once the chocolate is melted, quickly mix in the chopped nuts, dried cranberries, and coconut flakes until evenly combined.
Carefully pour the chocolate mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Using a spatula, spread it into an even layer, about 1/4 inch thick.
While the chocolate is still warm, sprinkle the flaky sea salt evenly over the top. Add a little extra if desired for a truly salty-sweet flavor.
Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 1-2 hours or until the chocolate is fully set.
Once hardened, remove the bark from the parchment and break it into pieces of your desired size.
Store the chocolate bark in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
Notes
Serve the bark on a decorative plate, and consider adding a small dish of sea salt alongside for optional extra seasoning.
