Scatter the halved cherry tomatoes and fresh mozzarella balls around the chicken in the skillet.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C).
Once done, remove from the oven and sprinkle fresh basil leaves over the chicken and vegetables.
Allow to rest for a few minutes before serving.
